Regional Vice President | Daren became a missionary with World Impact after graduating from Moody Bible Institute in 1999. He joined the Wichita staff, and shortly after moving into a house in the Oaklawn community of South Wichita, became the church-plant team leader in April of 2000. During this time, Daren married Tina Entz, the daughter of World Impact missionaries Andy and Lisa Entz.
In 2005, Daren became the Wichita Church Plant Director, which included the oversight of three church plants in transition.
Regional Director of Operations | Hayley Cheatham serves as the Regional Director of Operations for World Impact Midwest. A life-long Wichitan, Hayley previously worked in the legal field and became familiar with World Impact through volunteering with the Mobile Medical Clinic at her local church. Hayley enjoys the ability to use her gifts in administration and finance while honoring her passion for the urban poor.
Regional Director of Ministry | Ted Smith grew up in the inner-city of Baltimore, MD. Since giving his life to Christian service nearly three decades ago, he has served as a missionary to the Philippines and with churches in Oklahoma and Texas. He currently serves as Regional Director of Ministry, overseeing ministry staff and ministry engagements throughout the Midwest Region. In addition, Ted is the Director of The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) of Dallas facilitating classes and managing TUMI partnerships in the DFW area and beyond. He also teaches at Dallas Christian College.
Ministry Developer | Jordan King grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania and began working at one of World Impact's camps when he was young teen. He graduated with a degree in Bible and Social work from Cairn University outside of Philadelphia. While he was in college he interned in a drug and alcohol residential program, as well as a children’s crisis management agency, and at a World Impact site outside of Philadelphia. After graduating college Jordan married his wife Kathryn and they now have three young children Mason, Samuel, and Rosalie ages six, four, and six months.
Jordan worked for two years in therapeutic family counseling before joining World Impact as full time staff in 2011.
Regional Administrative Assistant | Aubrey joined World Impact in June of 2017. She serves as the Regional Administrative Assistant for the Midwest, as well as Administrative Assistant to the Wichita City Director.
She enjoys hiking, bike-riding, running, playing guitar and spending time with friends and her husband, Jake.
Iowa native, Aubrey has called Wichita, Kansas home for the last 12 years. She and Jake are expecting their first child in September of 2018.
Store Manager | David started his work with World Impact as a summer cook at Deer Creek Camp in Colorado. He worked there during the summers for 10 years. There, he learned what true “community” was like.
David is currently the manager of the World Impact Thrift Store (WITS) on Central. He has a heart for the urban poor and sharing the love of Christ with them.
Assistant Store Manager | Aldina serves as the assistant manager at the World Impact Thrift store located near downtown Wichita. She has served faithfully since the beginning of 2018.
Property Manager | Paul brought his extensive knowledge of maintenance and carpentry to MSR in 2014 along with his wife, Audrey, a gifted artist and volunteer coordinator. Paul lives in Wichita and serves as the Property Manager for MSR as well as our Wichita campus.
They have two adult daughters, Andrea (married to Joe) and Alexa (a WSU student).
Hospitality Coordinator | Both Ron and Faith grew up in Hillsboro, Kansas and graduated from Tabor College. After teaching and working in the secular field for eight years, they felt called to full-time Christian service.
They began ministry with World Impact in Newark, New Jersey and served there for over thirty-eight years. They were involved in many facets of ministry: teaching Bible clubs, teaching in Newark Christian School, administrative work in the school, Church Planting, facilities supervisor, director of a men’s home.
They returned to Wichita, Kansas in December of 2016. In February, Ron began half-time work with Wichita World Impact, as Hospitality Supervisor. His responsibilities there are to oversee the calendar and reservations for ten apartments on the Wichita campus. He also oversees the setting up and cleaning of the apartments. These apartments are used by leadership of World Impact who come for meetings and conferences. Many other individuals reserve apartments when they are in Wichita for training, conferences, and other ministry related meetings.
The hospitality team’s mission is to treat each guest of the World Impact campus as if we are welcoming Christ Himself by providing warm and welcoming overnight and event accommodation and food services.
