Jim and Becky Elam
Jim was born and raised in the country of Lincolnton, GA. While in college, Jim accepted the Lord. Shortly after becoming a Christian he began to serve in a weekend Bible Club ministry of World Impact in Wichita, KS. After Jim graduated from Tabor College he joined World Impact building a discipleship program for Morning Star Ranch in Florence, KS. Later he returned to Tabor College to serve as the men's resident director, assistant football coach, track coach, and assistant dean of students at Tabor College.
Becky was born and raised in Mission, TX. Her parents were church planters. Becky accepted the Lord early in life. Becky's servant heart was cultivated by the example of her mother. She received her training in nursing at Hesston College and has served as a nurse in clinics and hospitals in Texas and Kansas. Becky and Jim met at Tabor College in 1980 and were married in 1988. Together they have served World Impact as directors of the Morning Star Ranch in Florence, KS for over 10 years.
In April of 2011, they began their work with World Impact Dallas. Jim and Becky provide leadership to Hope Fellowship, one of our church plants, work with families in the community, serve with visiting mission groups, and lead weekly prayer walks in the neighborhood.
