Mike and Mary Dicke
Mike and Mary Dicke told God they would do whatever he wanted them to do after Mike retired from a career at Boeing in Wichita. Mary had volunteered with World Impact, helping to set up the mobile medical clinic in partnership with First Evangelical Free Church under the missions pastor Dan Curnutt. When Al Ewert told Dan about World Impact’s need for a camp director at Deer Creek Christian Camp, Dan knew just the couple. In August 2008, only one month after retirement, Mike and Mary moved to Bailey, Colorado and spent three years serving there.
In 2011 Mike and Mary left the camp to facilitate the expansion of TUMI satellites in Denver, Colorado. They have since been involved in starting TUMI in the Denver Women’s Correctional Facility, the Rural India Missionary Evangelism TUMI in India, have taught TUMI in Cape Town South Africa and Mike is currently making plans to help establish a new school in Hyderabad, India and in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
