Kaitlyn Brown was born and raised in Wichita and truly loves her home city. She graduated from Maize High School in 2010 and then from Tabor College in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design. At Tabor, Kaitlyn was the publicist for the Student Activities Board and Student Senate, designing both print and digital media advertisements. During her last two years at Tabor, Kaitlyn lived in the New International Carson House, which held cultural appreciation- and missions-themed events for the campus.
Tabor also cultivated Kaitlyn’s love of art, design, and culture. She had the incredible opportunity to travel to Europe in January 2013 for an interterm class—stopping in London, Paris, Zurich, Munich, Venice, and Rome. Visiting museums, theatres, famous landmarks, historical sites, and cathedrals fulfilled a lifelong dream. Kaitlyn’s favorite aspects of the graphic design field are that there’s always more to learn and more people to learn from. She tries to apply that philosophy in all areas of her life—professional, personal, and spiritual.
Kaitlyn does freelance in design, photography, and illustration in her spare time. She attends First Mennonite Brethren Church here in Wichita. Kaitlyn is very excited to be joining the World Impact ministry, and she can’t wait to see how God uses her talents and the talents of others for His glory!
