Rev. Andy Entz
Andy and his wife, Lisa, have been missionaries with World Impact since 1986. Andy grew up in a rural area near Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from Tabor College with a degree in Social Work in 1982. It was there that he met Lisa and they later married in June of 1982. Andy worked as a social worker in Wichita for several years investigating child abuse and neglect. In 1986, Andy and Lisa received the call to minister with World Impact. In their time at World Impact, Andy has helped start five urban churches, mentored pastors and discipled countless men in the city while giving pastor care to our staff nation-wide.
Andy and Lisa have spent most of their ministry in Wichita, Kansas but also spent four years working in Los Angeles. Andy has served as the Dallas city director while living in Wichita and also given oversight and direction to various areas of the ministry when needed.
In the summer of 2004, Andy, with the help of several key people around the country, hosted the first Candidate Assessment Program (CAP) in Wichita. In 2009, Andy was appointed to lead the World Impact Team Care Department where he continues to serve currently, giving pastoral care and oversight to staff and ministry personnel across the nation. He makes frequent visits to all our ministry cities.
On a personal basis, Andy enjoys his role as parent and even more now as grandparent to five grandsons and one sweet granddaughter, all living nearby in Wichita.
